Guidelines for Filling the Form

• Login Credentials:

  Please enter your Student Registration Number and National Identity Card (NIC) Number to login. Make sure to use the correct format (e.g., Reg no - SC/2020/21547 | NIC - 895628638V).

• Name on Certificate:

  The full name (in English) you gave at the time of university registration will be included on your degree certificate.

  • Minor spelling changes: If there are any changes to the letters of the name, indicate them in the relevant box.
    (e.g., From: Madhusan Ratnayaka | To: Madhushan Ratnayake – Allowed, subject to approval by the University Senate and the Governing Council).
  • Major name changes: Requests to change the whole name or part of the name will not be entertained. Such changes must be made before the effective date of the degree according to UGC Commission Circular No 09/2021.
    (e.g., From: Konara Mudiyanselage Saduni Kalpani Perera | To: Konara Mudiyanselage Suduni Kalpani – Not Allowed).

  All future communications will be sent via the e-mail address you enter in this form. Therefore, please enter your valid e-mail address correctly.

• Convocation Fees (Non-Refundable):
  • Internal and External Graduands: Rs. 6,500.00
  • Postgraduate Graduands: Rs. 12,000.00
• Payment Deadline:

  Make your payment before 31^st October 2025. Keep the payment voucher in your possession to submit to the university if required.

Convocation Registration Process

1. Register for the Convocation
   Visit: paravi.ruh.ac.lk/convocation and complete your registration.
2. Join the WhatsApp Channel
   Join the official WhatsApp channel using the link provided in the system, or by scanning the QR code displayed.
3. Make the Payment
   Make your payment according to the payment slip shown in the system, either through the University of Ruhuna Online Payment Portal (pay.ruh.ac.lk) or using the bank payment slip.
4. Check Payment Status
   Once the University updates your payment, it will be visible in your Convocation registration system.
5. Complete the Online Questionnaire
   After your payment is updated, a mandatory Online Questionnaire will appear. Please complete and submit it.
6. Follow the Instructions Section
   After submitting the questionnaire, you will be able to see the Instructions Area, which will be updated from time to time. Final instructions, including details on collecting the graduation cloak, garland, and graduation cap, will be published there.
